Hi and welcome to this Video Production News Update

In a tragic incident in Tottenham, 18-year-old Andre Salmon lost his life in a fatal shooting involving a shotgun on July 3, 2023. Reagan Konin, 19, has been convicted of murder in connection with the incident.

According to authorities, Salmon was riding a moped when he was shot by Konin on Stamford Road. Despite being injured, Salmon continued riding before collapsing in Constable Crescent, where he was found by police and the London Ambulance Service.

Konin, of Victoria Road, Tottenham, claimed that the shotgun, which he said he was delivering on behalf of a drug dealer, went off accidentally as he raised it in self-defense. However, police and prosecutors disputed this account, alleging that Konin had pursued another man with a machete just days before the shooting.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Whellams, who led the investigation, expressed condolences to Salmon's family and emphasized the seriousness of the crime. He stated, “Reagan Konin claimed that the shotgun went off accidentally, but based on the evidence they heard, the jury convicted him of murder.

”Whellams also noted that there are still unanswered questions about the incident and that Konin will have a long time in prison to reflect on his actions. He added, “However, nothing will take away the pain that he inflicted last summer.”Andre Salmon's family continues to receive support from specialist officers as they cope with their loss.Reagan Konin will be sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 28.Well, that’s all for now.
