CCTV Released in Search for Suspect After Girl aged 14 Raped in Train Station Toilets

British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man they are seeking in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl at Harlow Town railway station in Essex.
The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday, 18 February 2024, between 2:30 am and 4:40 am, within the station’s toilets.
Marking a year since the incident, detectives have renewed their appeal for information and are urging the public to help identify the individual pictured in the footage.
In a statement, the BTP said:
"A year on from the day of the incident, detectives investigating a rape and sexual assault at Harlow Town railway station continue to appeal for information regarding a man they believe could assist with their enquiries. In the early hours of Sunday 18 February between 2:30 am and 4:40 am, a girl was sexually assaulted and subsequently raped in the toilets at the station. Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation."
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses or those who recognise the man in the released images are asked to contact:
British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2400021176. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
This remains an active investigation, and police are determined to bring the perpetrator to justice.
