Hi and welcome to this Video Production News Court Report:

Bandokay, Son of Mark Duggan, Faces Sentencing for Firearms Offences.
Kemani Duggan, AKA Drill Rapper Bandokay, and the son of the late Mark Duggan, is facing jail time after pleading guilty to firearms possession. Kemani, 23, was arrested at Gatwick Airport in January and initially charged with possessing a Tokarev pistol and 22 rounds of ammunition with the intent to endanger life. These charges were later amended, and Kemani pled guilty to the lesser offence of possession with intent to cause fear of violence.
The case has drawn significant attention due to Kemani's father, Mark Duggan, whose fatal shooting by the Metropolitan Police in 2011 sparked widespread riots across London and other English cities. Mark Duggan was shot by an officer known as V53 in Tottenham during an operation to intercept a minicab based on intelligence that he was carrying a gun. A pistol was later found about 23 feet away from the vehicle.
Despite multiple legal appeals by the Duggan family, an inquest jury concluded in 2014 that Mark Duggan was lawfully killed. This verdict was upheld by both the High Court and the Court of Appeal, affirming the legality of the police actions in this case.
Kemani, who was just 10 years old at the time of his father's death, has since made a name for himself in the music industry as part of the hip-hop collective Original Farm Boys. However, his recent legal troubles have cast a shadow over his career.
Last Monday, Kemani appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court, where he was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and ammunition. Following his guilty plea to the amended charges, he is set to be sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, July 5. His co-defendant, Abdou Bojang, also admitted to possessing a prohibited firearm and ammunition without a certificate. Prosecutor Diana Wilson accepted the pleas, and any outstanding charges have been set aside.
The minimum sentence for possession of a firearm in the UK is five years, and both defendants have been remanded into custody pending their sentencing.
Video Production News will be live in Wood Green Crown Court on the 5th of July to immediately bring you the court's decision on this case and the full sentencing details.
Well, that’s all for now. But until our next article, please stay tuned, stay informed, but most of all stay safe, and I’ll see you then.
